Ulrike Reinhard, one of our Advisory Board members, visited us last weekend in Bristol. It was lovely to catch up and reflect on her nomadic life of hers and on my plans for a more inclusive Voxel Hub. Her visit also reminded me of her recent podcast interview with Nix Asteri (also known as Dawid Presley), who in the past co-created some of the best initiatives for young people’s digital wellbeing that did (even before the name “Voxel Hub” was in use). Here is their conversation. Enjoy!
I am so proud to share this incredibly important TEDx Talk delivered recently by our Advisory Board member, Lewis Wedlock. Whether you work with men or not, I think this one is worth a watch as it raises important issues about the mental health and wellbeing of so many people in our communities. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, Lewis!
Congratulations to Lewis for making it to the Rife’s 30 under 30’s list this year.
Today I would like to share a project called “Black Bristol”. It is an online interactive timeline featuring the history of Black people in the Bristol area. The website launched yesterday so I strongly encourage you to check it out and get involved.
Lewis Wedlock is a mental health activist and social psychologist from Bristol. He works for Project Zazi, a project by OTR Bristol that deals with young BAME people’s mental health experience through therapy and activism. He is also the creator of Pinpoint Academia, a university facing a personal development project that helps students locate and work towards their versions of success.
Today I would like to introduce Charlotte Randomly who is joining the Voxel Hub Advisory Board.
Today I would like to introduce Muneera Williams who is joining the Voxel Hub Advisory Board. Muneera has this fantastic gravity and power of presence which – I am certain – will hold the Voxel Hub on the right track in the future. She is kind, fun and generous. She is honest and courageous. It is a privilege to have her on board.
Today I am really happy to introduce another member of my Advisory Board, Lewis Wedlock.
Last week I introduced on this blog my first Advisory Member, Liam, and soon you will meet all four board members, so today I would like to spend a little bit of time explaining the why behind this idea.
I am very pleased, humbled and excited to introduce Voxel Hub’s first Advisory Board Member, Liam McKinnon.
