I want to write a blog post in response, or rather as a follow-up to my liberation psychology talk that honours a reply I made at the end of it to the questions: “How can we start getting involved in liberation psychologies?” and “If it feels like a lot to take in, how do we start this work?”.
Welcome to our September Newsletter. As the summer softly shifts into autumn, I am starting my journey with the Vunja! We Will Dance With The Mountains Academy and my small oddship group from a few continents. I am entering this community to continue unlearning my White, Euro-patriarchal ways of thinking and step into more feeling. I do this because feeling and re-connecting with ourselves and re-authoring our stories (individual, collective, planetary) is at the core of liberation psychologies.

I do not want to deny the inequalities – they exist, and they do harm, abuse and kill people. And I do not say this because they harmed me – as mentioned earlier, I realise I escaped ever so easily. But, I also start to feel that maybe one specific or very few privileged men do not really exist as such, even if some visibly carry that story ever so comfortably.
What if, if we cannot blame them, we are all left displaced here in this time of figuring ourselves out?
If you are looking to break free from the chains of oppression, liberation is the answer. Liberation is the act of freeing someone or something from social, political, or economic restrictions. In its simplest form, it is the process of creating freedom and autonomy from external control.
Healing – We need to open up our healing processes to experimentation
Liberation – We need the freedom to connect with our authenticity
Our boundaries – We have to learn to respect our boundaries
