Compassionate journalling is a form of awakening, practising and nurturing our inner accepting, comforting, supporting self.

Imagine having various inner parts. Your inner child needs comfort; your inner adult needs acceptance; your inner…and so on.

If we introduce a compassionate voice in our journalling, we may notice it showing up in our daily situations more often, which leads to a softer, lighter way of being.

Small note: this does not mean we have to rely all on ourselves; the collective, relational support of others is still critical for our wellbeing. However, we can also develop our own inner support mechanisms too.
