Social media algorithms learn from us and our content. What you bring to the Internet is training your algorithm. So it’s important to consider the topics we share and discuss, the ads we click on, the communities we join. Algorithms learn from our preferences and our behaviours – which can be a good thing or can cause us more upset and harm. Be sensible in how you train your social platforms and make them work for you.
