In the modern age, where social media fosters powerful connections with people worldwide, it has emerged as a massive platform for those who wish to share their creative spark. It allows artists to collaborate with one another, reach broader audiences, and share their stories.

  1. Monetising work

One benefit social media brings to artists is that it allows them to monetise their work through platforms such as TikTok, where they post their art and receive money from the platform when they receive interactions such as likes, views, and followers. Others, build their careers by supporting social media monetisation and marketing in general.

  • Free promotion

Social media also allows artists to promote their work for free, which can sometimes allow them to be noticed by more prominent content creators, and that can boost their following massively. Here is my favourite guitar artist, for example.

  • Inspiration

Another important part of social media for creativity is inspiration. With all the experienced artists online, social media allows novice artists and even other professional artists a platform to look for new inspiration to use for future works. Platforms such as Pinterest and Instagram are particularly useful for this.

Do not underestimate the power of social media, and never forget to be creative and always seek to be more curious!
